Having been a life-long resident of Central KY, I welcomes the opportunity to offer you a positive and helpful partnership for buying or selling a home, commercial property, farm or parcel/lot for development.From designing and producing blueprints and construction documents, to working with new construction,renovation, adaptive-use and historic preservation; my experience covers four decades in the design process, construction administration,historic preservation, and in community and economic development for residential homes and a variety of commercial/industrial facilities. As the 3rd generation working in residential design/construction, understanding the needs of people in their built environment is second nature to me thanks to my father, a known craftsman/master builder in Central KY, who introduced me to the construction field at a very young age.
As a former Director for both a Main Street Community Revitalization Program and a county-wide Economic Development Authority, I have been fortunate to have considerable advanced training in Economic Development through the International Economic Development Council.As your Realtor, it is my pleasure to offer you my expertise as a professional Interior Designer/Space Planner, a Residential Architectural Designer and as a former college design professor. Certified through education, experience and testing by CIDQ in Washington, DC and the Kentucky Board of Architects, my education includes a BS and MA Degree in Interior Design/Historic Preservation, a BS Degree in Industrial Technology/Horticulture, and an Education Doctorate with Architectural Specialization.Designations:Graduate,REALTOR Institute, Accredited Buyer's Rep.and the Short Sale and Foreclosure cert.
